Australian Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society

I am very happy to introduce Australia, along with New Zealand and South Africa, as one of the newest members of the Fifth Federation of IFFAS. We are very excited to be joining IFFAS. We are a small society of just over 100 members spread across a country larger than Europe. We are a relatively young society too, having been formed in 1991. We hold a scientific meeting once a year and regularly combine with New Zealand alternating between countries to host the meeting.

We are looking forward to becoming part of the IFFAS family as the first worldwide Federation of Foot Societies. Hopefully we will be able to host the IFFAS family “down under” for a meeting in a few years time.  We would love to invite you all to visit Australia.

Looking forward to catching up soon!
